Feel Better Yoga South End / Dilworth
Dilworth / South End, Charlotte, NC
Our review of Feel Better Yoga South End / Dilworth
Fifty-plus classes a week, cushioned floors, no mirrors, and a $12 community class on Sundays. Feel Better is the least intimidating room in Charlotte, and the schedule to build a whole week around.
What stands out
The heat sits at 88-95F, which is warm enough to matter and cool enough that you will not spend your first class wondering whether to leave. The floors are heavily cushioned - a small thing that becomes a large thing if your knees are the reason you stopped exercising. Fifty classes a week is the deepest schedule in the city, mirror-free rooms mean nobody is checking themselves, and there is a $12 community class on Sundays for anyone who cannot make the numbers work. A perfect five stars, and a $24 drop-in that undercuts almost everything else in South End.
The honest tradeoff
Only 32 public reviews, which is a small sample next to Khali's 634 - the score is excellent but it is not yet tested. The advertised $107 rate needs a twelve-month commitment; month to month is $149, which is above the market. Amenities are thin: mat rental and retail, no showers confirmed anywhere on the site, which matters when you are practising in a 95F room before work. And the weights classes are unheated, so read the schedule if heat is what you came for.
Best for
Beginners, anyone returning to exercise after a break, and people who want a class every day of the week. The best-priced entry into hot yoga in South End - just check the shower situation first.
