CorePower Yoga - Charlotte Midtown
Cherry / Midtown, Charlotte, NC
Our review of CorePower Yoga - Charlotte Midtown
Up a red door beside a phone shop, on the second floor of a busy Midtown shopping centre. This is the weaker of Charlotte's two CorePowers, and the lowest-rated studio on this page.
What stands out
Location, mostly. Kings Drive is central in a way that Park Road is not, and if you work in Midtown or live in Cherry this is the closest heated room to you that opens at 6am and closes at 10pm, every day of the week. The $175 All Access membership works at every CorePower in the country, and there are showers, lockers, mats and towels - a full locker room, which several Charlotte independents do not offer.
The honest tradeoff
At 4.2 stars this is the lowest public score in Charlotte's hot yoga market. The entrance is genuinely hard to find on a first visit - a red door beside the Verizon store, then upstairs - and the shared car park fills at peak, so the 6pm class starts with a parking problem. No published room temperature. $175 a month is the highest rate in the city, and Khali is a fifteen-minute drive with 634 reviews at 4.8 and a $22 drop-in.
Best for
Midtown and Cherry residents who need a national membership. If you have a choice, take the Park Road location instead.
