Our review of Humble Haven Yoga

Richmond's first dedicated hot power studio and, nearly a decade on, still the one with the deepest schedule. Two rooms at Reynolds Crossing - one heated, one not - running 60-plus classes a week.

What stands out

No other studio in Richmond gives you this much range under one roof. The heat is graded rather than uniform: 105F for the 26&2 sequence, 95-100F for hot power, 85-90F for the strength and mobility classes, and an unheated room for Yin. That means you can build a whole week here - hard on Monday, mobility on Wednesday, cooling down on Sunday - without switching studios. At $25 the drop-in is the cheapest in the city, and the Bridge Membership sliding-scale programme is a rare thing in a boutique fitness market. Sixty classes a week means you will find one that fits.

The honest tradeoff

The unlimited membership wants three months paid upfront, which is the stiffest ask in Richmond - $435 before you have taken a class as a member. The month-to-month escape hatch exists but costs $199, well above the market. And amenities are simply not published: if a post-class shower matters to you, call before you go rather than assume.

Best for

Practitioners who want one studio to cover everything from a 105F Bikram sequence to unheated Yin, and anyone for whom the sliding-scale option makes the difference. Be ready to commit for a quarter.
