The busiest hot yoga room in Richmond, and the only one heated by far-infrared panels instead of forced air. Willow Lawn is the flagship of the two Hot Yoga Barre locations, and the format list runs well past yoga.
What stands out
Infrared heat feels different - it warms you rather than the air, so 99F here reads less suffocating than 99F from a forced-air vent. That single choice is why a lot of people who bounced off hot yoga elsewhere stick here. The schedule is genuinely broad (hot power, vinyasa, sculpt, hot Pilates, barre and HIIT, all in the heat), it starts at 5:30am on weekdays, and one membership covers both locations. The $79 intro month with no commitment is one of the lowest-friction ways into hot yoga in the city.
The honest tradeoff
You must bring your own mat - there are no rentals, which is an odd gap for a studio selling a $79 trial month to people who may not own one yet. The Willow Lawn suite is genuinely hard to find on a first visit (second floor, set back in the shopping center), and the door locks at class start, so a wrong turn can cost you the class. There is also no separate changing area, only the restroom.
Best for
People who have found forced-air heat unbearable and want to try infrared, and anyone who wants hot yoga, sculpt and HIIT on a single membership. Bring a mat, and arrive ten minutes early the first time.
