The most complete hot yoga schedule in San Diego, in a small studio a block from the Ocean Beach pier. Every class here is heated - the only question is how much.
What stands out
Indie grades its heat across a full 25-degree range and tells you exactly where each class sits: 80F for Yin, 90F for Sculpt, 95-100F for Vinyasa 1, 100-105F for Vinyasa 2, and 105F-plus for Hot Hatha Fusion and the traditional 26&2 series. No other studio in the city gives you both a beginner-accessible warm room and an authentic Bikram sequence on the same membership. The $39 intro month is outstanding value against a $150 membership, and the phone-free policy is enforced rather than decorative. Showers, which several San Diego hot studios do not have.
The honest tradeoff
The cheaper Rockstar membership at $118 locks you in for three months, so the real headline price is $150. Classes start and end on time, and if you are late you may simply not get in - Ocean Beach parking makes that a live risk. And at 4.5 stars, the public review score is the lowest of any independent hot studio on this page; the studio is small and the teaching is not uniformly praised the way Modo's is.
Best for
Anyone who wants one studio to cover everything from an 80F Yin to a 105F Bikram sequence. Beach-side practitioners, and anyone who wants a phone-free room.
