Our review of Activate House
A boutique fitness studio in North Park that happens to run a heated sculpt class, rather than a hot yoga studio that happens to have other formats. Worth knowing which way round that is before you book.
What stands out
The amenities are the best in this price bracket - showers, lockers, retail, a space that reviewers consistently describe as spa-like rather than gym-like. If you want spin on Monday, Pilates on Wednesday and heated sculpt on Friday, all on one membership and all in one very good-looking building, nowhere else in North Park does that. Two hundred reviews at 4.9 says the instruction across formats is genuinely strong.
The honest tradeoff
The heat here is 88F, which is the mildest room on this entire page, and the only heated format is sculpt. If you are looking for hot yoga in the sense that the other studios on this list mean it, this is not that. No prices are published anywhere, and no intro offer either. Memberships auto-renew on a three-month minimum with thirty days written notice to cancel, and there is a $25 fee if you fail to show.
Best for
North Park cross-trainers who want spin, Pilates and a warm sculpt class in one polished building. Not the pick if hot yoga is the reason you are here.
