What stands out
Parking directly outside the door, a renovated lobby and changing rooms, and a teaching roster that even the studio's harshest reviewers go out of their way to praise. The chain system is intact: Hot Power Fusion, C2, Yoga Sculpt, a free first week, and a $189 All Access membership valid at every CorePower in the country - which for a student or a UCSD-adjacent professional who travels is the actual reason to be here.
The honest tradeoff
This is the lowest-rated CorePower in San Diego at 4.3, and the reviews are specific: the renovation covered the lobby and the changing rooms but not the practice room, which regulars describe as unchanged, uneven underfoot and smelling of feet. There are also repeated complaints about front-desk management. No published room temperature, $189 a month, doors locked at class start. Redflo is fifteen minutes away, infrared, cheaper, and lets you pick your own heat by row.
Best for
UTC and La Jolla people who need a national membership and already know the teachers. Otherwise, this is the CorePower to skip.
