CorePower Yoga - Little Italy
Little Italy, San Diego, CA
Our review of CorePower Yoga - Little Italy
A glass-fronted room on Kettner Boulevard, in the middle of Little Italy - and the CorePower most likely to be someone's first ever yoga class, judging by the reviews.
What stands out
Almost every review here is from a visitor or a first-timer, and almost all of them are warm: staff who took time with people who had never practised, instructors who made a drop-in feel expected rather than tolerated. If you are new to San Diego or passing through, that counts. The $189 All Access membership works at every CorePower nationally, the first week is free, and the location is walkable from most of downtown and Little Italy.
The honest tradeoff
At 4.4 stars this is the weakest-rated CorePower in San Diego, and the thin review count says the local community has not really formed. Parking costs money - $4 for two hours at the Ariel Building, or free meters only after 6pm and on Sundays. No published room temperature, $189 a month, packs that expire, and an arbitration clause in the terms. Yoga Box Downtown is a short walk away, hotter on paper, and free to try for three days.
Best for
Visitors, business travellers, and Little Italy residents who will walk. Come after 6pm if you are driving, when the meters go free.
