Street level on Garnet Avenue, in the busiest few blocks in Pacific Beach - and with exactly five parking spaces of its own.
What stands out
The studio manager and the teaching team get named repeatedly in the reviews, and the tone is unusually warm for a franchise: people describe it as a sacred space rather than a gym, which is not a phrase you see attached to many CorePower locations. The full system is here - Hot Power Fusion, C2, Yoga Sculpt with weights - plus a locker room with showers, which matters in a beach neighbourhood. Free first week, and the $189 All Access membership works nationally.
The honest tradeoff
Five parking spaces. On Garnet Avenue. That is the entire story of this location's worst reviews - people who paid to park, arrived a minute after the hour, and were locked out with no refund and no grace period. The policy is strict and the reviews are furious about it. Add no published room temperature and a $189 monthly rate, and Soma, Reach and Yoga Box are all within a few blocks at half the price.
Best for
Pacific Beach residents who can walk to class. If you have to drive to Garnet, leave twenty minutes early or go somewhere else.
