CorePower Yoga - Point Loma
Point Loma / Midway, San Diego, CA
Our review of CorePower Yoga - Point Loma
A second-floor studio in a Rosecrans strip mall, with the most reviews of any San Diego CorePower - and the most divided.
What stands out
When the teaching lands here, it really lands: reviewers describe Yoga Sculpt instructors whose musicality and pacing make the hour disappear, and several call it their favourite of the dozen or so CorePower studios in the city. Parking is directly in front, which for a chain that mostly leaves you to fend for yourself is a genuine advantage. Full locker room with showers, mats and towels available, and the $189 All Access membership works at any CorePower in the country.
The honest tradeoff
The room is small and it packs out - the sharpest reviews here describe mat-to-mat crowding in a space with more heat than airflow, and a class that felt like a sauna rather than a practice. With no published room temperature, you cannot check before you go. $189 a month is the top of the market, packs expire, and the terms include an arbitration clause. YogaSix is ten minutes away at Liberty Station and honest about being milder.
Best for
Point Loma and Midway residents who want a national membership and parking at the door. Go off-peak; the small room is the whole story here.
