Redflo Yoga
La Jolla / UTC, San Diego, CA
Our review of Redflo Yoga
The only studio in San Diego where you choose your temperature by choosing your row. Redflo heats the front of the room to 90-95F and lets the back sit at 80-85F, on purpose.
What stands out
That row-graded heat is a genuinely clever piece of design, and nobody else in the city does it. It means a nervous beginner and a heat-seeking regular can take the same class and both get what they came for - and you can move forward a row as you acclimatise, which is a much gentler progression than jumping studios. The focus is recovery and mobility rather than punishment, with weights and Pilates fusion in the mix. Full locker room with showers and a changing area, which is more than most independents here offer.
The honest tradeoff
The advertised $99 membership is not the real price unless you sign a six-month contract; month-to-month runs to $159. Packs expire fast - thirty days for a single class - and doors lock at the start of class. With only 33 public reviews it is also the least-tested studio on this page; the score is excellent but the sample is small.
Best for
Beginners who want to control their own heat exposure, and UTC and La Jolla practitioners who want a full locker room. Read the membership tiers carefully before you sign.
